How Deadlands Classic Rolls Work
- Roll N dice of your trait's die type (set by Aptitude level).
- Acing: A die showing its max value explodes — reroll and add (chains indefinitely).
- Keep only the single highest result from all dice.
- Success: Result ≥ Target Number (TN). Each 5 over TN = 1 Raise.
- Bust: More than half the dice show 1s before acing — critical failure.
